Sister Chinderella

BEARD! I just thought I'd write you a little pre-mission letter (well blog post) ;) I LOVE YOU. SO MUCH. I've been so blessed to have you as a friend. We've shared so many memories that I hold so dearly. Like our poop remixes to Kelly Clarkson songs, driving to seminary in your blue truck/van later, and girls camp lovin. One of my favs is when you prayed for me when I got sick at girls camp. That was such a cool & spiritual experience!! You've always been such a great example to all of the young women, including me. Your testimony is amazing! You're gonna do great things. And you're going to be an AWESOME missionay. I can't wait for you to get out there and experience it all. I know you'll love it. And ASL!!! Ah so fun. :-) anyways, beard love you so much!

Love Emers

Ps- the above picture is soooooo great! Hahahahhah

little inspiration for ya

Just wanted to remind you beautiful ladies of how amazing you all are! I really loved this quote today. Save it and set it as your background or write it down! It's so true :)) Sometimes we don't see how beautiful and glorious we are. Our Heavenly Father sees our full potential and that truly is more glorious than we can imagine. Just remember you are divine and your purpose on this earth is divine. You were sent here for a reason. I love you all :)

NEON LIGHTS!

Well dang, this week was a good one! As of now I am totally engrossed in this new book that i've been reading. See, the bad part is the word 'engrossed.' I have almost close to no ability to put it down! That happens a lot to me--it's pathetic. ;)
The first book is called Furies of Calderon and then there are about 4 or 5 others! yay! i can obsess longer!!! :) that always makes me happy.

Anyway, the stinking highlight of my week was spraying glowing (probably radioactive) green water on people and throwing dust that if you inhale makes you feel like you won't breathe again for a week and you'll probably get lung cancer! BUT, it was so stinking worth it! I went to a Neon Vibe run as a volunteer, and let me tell you, we got just as crazy--if not crazier--than the runners! This run was at nighttime and in black lights--everyone shone like crazy colorful bits of neon lights! SO COOL! might i add that it is such a perk to pelt random people with glowing water! Seriously, y'all need to do this!

SOOOO FUN!!!!

this one is a lot like it, just imagine it at night and under black light!!

Anyways, stuff you can take from this post:
-Read a lot (preferably Furies of Calderon)
-Definitely take advantage of any Color Run, the nighttime one is the best (volunteer or run)!

Peace!

Labor it up!!

Feeling bored lately--seriously, all I do each day for work is filing crap, inputting crap, and working on a computer like crap! haha it's not really all that bad, but I do wish i had a day off or two. I'm a bit of a drama queen. Hey, at least I can admit it!

There is still hope (at least for one more day)!!! I get a day off of work for Labor Day! Yay for September 1st!
I read that Labor day is just the opposite of what it is called; it's an honor for those who labor-LIKE ME!!!! yipee! I deserve this! hahaha

SOMETHING GOOD TO REMEMBER:
"Labor Day was borne out of the U.S. labor movement toward the end of the 19th century when workers sought better working conditions, fairer wages and union representation. There is some debate over who is the true founder of the holiday. For much of history, Peter McGuire, the founder of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, was credited as the founder of Labor Day. Sources say that McGuire stood in front of the New York Central Labor Union on May 12, 1882 to declare that a day be set aside to celebrate the nation's workforce.
At any rate, the first Labor Day holiday was signed into law in Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Oregon in 1887. The ordinance passed in many of the other states through the years, and on June 28, 1894, Congress declared the first Monday in September as Labor Day."

Anyway, my labor day should be great...as long as my dad doesn't make me work! just kidding, no, i am not one of those teenagers. yes, i know how to work--hence my happiness towards Labor day. ;) I'll fill y'all in on my day next week!

Guess what i'm doing?! I'm working on my LDS mission papers!! I have no idea where i'm going to go, what language i will speak, or how this will all end up, but i do know that my Heavenly Father will assist me! I'm super stoked, and super scared, but i have many friends that have been helping me to decide on what's the best way to go. While i do listen to them, my main decision was made by myself--as well it should be! If you are debating about a mission, don't let others influence you (let them help you, just not influence), it is a private matter between you and your Heavenly Father.

(questions about this post? go to LDS.org or ASK THE MISSIONARIES!  ...or me... because i'll be one soon! ;) )

Well, gotta scram!

Remember why we have Labor day and praise the heavens above that it is a day off of work (tell your parents that when they are forcing you to do chores--i'm sure they'd love it!)!!

This Makes Me Want to Weep and then Die ;)

Ah, life. it has all the stinking potential in the world to be exciting and fun.
and then there's me...all i do is work and I pretty much feel like Tim Curry in Gus's blueberry.

'nuf said.

Then, I think i'm falling apart--nope, I not fishing for sympathy (only compliments! ha!) i'm only telling it how it is. My knees have been killing me for the past oh, 6-8 months. i used to be a runner, but hard-butt asphalt doesn't do wonders for weak knees. Then! in the last 4 weeks my wrists have been hurting up a storm (mostly my right wrist--and i don't mind that much b/c at least i have my left--yup folks, i'm a lefty, and no, i won't murder all of your children in their beds...but, i digress). So, i feel like someone has my little voodoo doll and is tweaking it just enough to cause noticeable pain. fun stuff man.
this goat is having none of this kid's shit
See? i know what this kid is going through! well...not really. poor sap.

Anyway, now that the pity party is through i just want to give a shout out to my weekends! do yourselves a favor, peeps and enjoy these things. they are way too short but oh-so fantastic! On Friday I went shopping and saw the cutest boy in the world (probably not, but whateves) again at a certain store that i frequent...not for any particular reason heeheehee. ;) Then, on Saturday i went and babysat the cutest kids i know! adorable little crazies that never allow for any slow or boring parts while you're there. AND! i got a cute little baby to watch too!!! them chubby cheeks are just so pinchable!
Yup they are definitely cuter than this--although the evil, well that's another story. ;) they get it from their mom.

Then today was a wonderful day at church! great talks, and a really good relief society lesson about gratitude. I love this one quote that comforts be about my hatred towards change: "In light of what we know about our eternal destiny, is it any wonder that whenever we face the bitter endings of life, they seem unacceptable to us? There seems to be something inside of us that resists endings. Why is this? Because we are made of the stuff of eternity. We are eternal beings, children of the Almighty God." Change isn't fun! but we can still be grateful in our circumstances to make life worth living.

Also, i went to Jacksonville today to do a blog video for an awesome (or crazy--it just depends on what side of the spectrum you live) friend of mine! She does ASL (American Sign Language) posts on her blog and she has quite a few videos too. Since i'm left handed she wanted to show her lefty viewers the differences (but really, there aren't that many) b/w right-handed signers and left. It was so much stinking fun and i got to do some more sign language! which, coincidentally, i'm going to go practice right now!!

See you crazy faces later!!
~Beard (nickname-don't ask...i'll probably tell you sometime later)

Soooo..

Ambers getting MARRIED?! I am so excited for her...it just seems like not too long ago we were in young womens together. Not too long ago I saw her hair flips at stake dances. Not too long ago I saw her beautiful face at Girls Camp. Time really does fly...

Anyway, I did a little photo shoot of her in her dress! IT WAS SO FUN. And she is gorgeous!!!!

Dancing on the hay was my favorite :-)

Love this shot^^

Clark's gonna pee his pants when he sees this babe

Ever since efy Ive been listening to the efy soundrack and MAN it is sooo good! One of my all time favorites is "I Am Enough" by Nicole Sheanan. I seriously recommend listening to it, it will change your life. It reminds me of how much Heavenly Father loves me, every time I hear it.

Efy was amazing. Let me tell you! Stronger testimony, BYUUUU, amazing group, laughing, Utah adventures afterwards, and I got even closer to kamalama. Love her to pieces

Came across this scripture and I thought I would share: Mormon 5:11.
"To be clasped in the arms of Jesus".
I know that Christ is always there, and that He will lift us up, and one day we can be clasped in His arms.

Aren't me and Harmony cute? Selfies on the way back from young womens!  She's seriously so hilarious! Love her.

So, last week my mom took everyone school shopping at Fred Meyer, which sucked. Q [4] wanted everything she could and couldn't get her hands on, especially if in involved My Little Pony in some way, shape or form. The same goes for Princess [7], even though she's older and should be able to restrain herself somewhat, she either can't or doesn't. The boys were actually okay, except for when Bubba [9] was picking out shoes. You could probably hear the screams of "BUT I WANT SOME TOO!!" from across the store (coming from Boo [10]).Anyway, i got some new folders that are loverly and all different colours, along with notebooks to (sort of) match. But as nice as they look, they seem kinda plain, so I wanted to decorate them somehow, and decided to do that by drawing things! Hooray! Seriously though, I wanted to draw something different for each folder and tape it in with packing tape (so that the drawing stays protected, but i don't have to laminate it). I didn't quite know what to draw, so i went about my day, and came across an artice on Facebook. It was called "10 Traumatic Disney Moments (Besides Bambi's Mother Being Shot)", so, me being me, I decided to read it. I came across a picture from one of my top 3 Disney movies: Mulan. You know that part after "A Girl Worth Fighting For" when it's all sad. Well, there's the part of that scene where it shows the little girls doll sitting up against the sword, and I thought, "I love that movie and that shot. I will probably butcher it, but I'm drawing that." So that's what I've spent a great portion of my day doing.

I really don't like how the body turned out, but this was the best i could get it to. I'm thinking that i will probably finish it tomorrow, and i will probably post a finished picture when I'm done. Honestly though, now that I'm looking at it, I realize I have a lot left to do. Ah, well. That can be done tomorrow. (And if you're wondering about the red background, it's a tip I got from a drawing show I follow on youtube, and they do that to make sure that they color everything. It actually works really well.)
